    Accessibility

The Wednesday Wanderer aims to meet WCAG 2.2 AA. Here's what's built in, what's known to fall short, and how to reach us if something gets in your way.

    What's built in

    • An accessibility menu on every page (the floating button, bottom left) with text size, spacing, contrast, color-vision filters, reduced motion and read-aloud, plus a reset.
    • Full keyboard use, a skip link, visible focus, and labelled controls throughout, including the audio player.
    • Day and night modes.
    • Nothing plays sound by itself. Audio starts only when you press play.
    • Every episode has a full, searchable transcript with timestamps that jump the player to that moment.
    • Player controls work from your keyboard's media keys, your lock screen and headphone buttons.

    Known gaps

Transcripts are made from the audio and don't label who's speaking. Episode videos on YouTube use YouTube's own captions, which we don't control.

    Tell us

If something doesn't work for you, use the help button on any page or email guests@zathenaventures.xyz. Say what page and what happened. We'll reply within five business days and fix what we can.
